‘Life & Limb’ are a keyboard driven, original rock band from Atlanta, GA who boast a fresh new rock sound, built on great songwriting, soulful vocals, funky melodies, and colorful grooves. Embodying a unique lead keyboard sound, they continue to astonish audiences across the country. Night after night, enthusiastic fans everywhere are sharing in the Life & Limb experience, which continues to flourish with every amazing performance.

The ʻLife & Limbʼ family is a merging of amazing musicians from previously diversified and experienced projects in the SouthEast. Fatefully united, they have combined their artistic forces, and continue to share their love of music with the world. The bandʼs members have gratefully shared the stage with music greats such as; Derek Trucks Band, Cowboy Mouth, Drivinʼ N Cryin, Vertical Horizon, Freddie Jones Band, Govʼt Mule, Guster, Jump Little Children, Angie Aparo, Lenny Kravitz, Pink, Jerry Lee Lewis, and so many great local artists.

Originally formed by keyboardist/songwriter Bill Simpson and percussionist Patrick Mueller, the band blossomed out of many in-studio sessions, and industry showcase performances. Along with lead singer Dave Kelly, they forged ahead to establish a unique original sound that would become the basis of their album ‘Few and Far Between’. With help through internet sales and radio exposure, the release of their first single ‘Whoa Nelly’ quickly injected them into the mainstream. With both increased radio airplay to over 50 stations nationwide, and ever growing fanbase, Life & Limb have been able to come very far, very fast.

Over the years of many live showcases and many encouraging performances, and after some minor personnel adjustments of guitar players and singers, the band pushed forward to become what it is today, alive and rocking. Step by step, the band continues to be humbled by their audiences across the country, and are still determined to reach every set of hearts and ears they can with their original music.

About founding members Bill and Patrick: *Songwriter and keyboardist Bill Simpson brings an original ‘lead’ keys sound to the front of the ‘Life & Limb’ experience. By mixing fresh new progression styles, and colorful melodies, the groundwork for completely original sounds are achieved. Having composed a catalogue of songs for himself, various  other artists, and different band situations, his experience as a songwriter continues to flourish to new heights, especially on the new horizons of  ‘Life & Limb’. With his ‘we owe it to ourselves as artists to strive for complete originality’ take on songwriting and production, the future of ‘Life & Limb’s’ music is sure to shine on from this foundation of creative authenticity. *Holding up the backbone of the band, and leading the rhythm section, Patrick Mueller molds tight pockets which form a solid cornerstone on which to lift off from. From his imaginative driving rhythms to his solid throbbing beats, his intricate stick-work  gives rise to a new taste in drumming attitude. Having shared the stage and worked in-studio with many talented artists over the years, he has been committed to upholding the disciplines of a fine tuned original, and continues to thrive as an undeniable drumming innovator.
