Life & Limb is getting stoked for the upcoming Special Holiday Concert Event at Vinyl Atlanta on Saturday December 18th. The year ending show will feature rockin’ headliner Stevie Monce, Life & Limb, and up and comer Scotty Cram. The Holiday Show is sure to be loaded with amazing music, special guests, and a handful of great holiday surprises. Can’t wait to see everyone at the show - with bells on !!

The Downtown Sounds Live full length concert audio is now available!  The concert audio was recorded at Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta back in Sept ’10 and features not only an amazing 10 song live show, but includes two fresh new L & L tracks, a special guest appearance by vocalist Joshua Golden, and a smoking encore of the late Ray Charles’ “What’d I Say”. The show audio/video was provided by Atlanta’s Visual Rhthym Pro, and can be obtained through the website FAN page. This concert CD is a must have for all fans, as it captures the full power of the live Life & Limb sound.

Life & Limb’s own Sky Clark will be performing at the upcoming Songwriters and Storytellers Session at Smiths Olde Bar in Atlanta, GA. The live sessions will be held on Jan. 7 with such greats as Connor Christian, Josh Golden and Sky Clark, Boo Ray, Brian Cameron, and Madison Laughridge. We are all looking forward to this special evening of original music and talented artists.

Special thanks to everyone who made it out for the last show of the year, last Saturday night’s blowout at Vinyl Atlanta was amazing. The night was full of special surprises, and great people. Filling in on lead vocals, the talented Mr. Jason Pomar, straight off the Edwin Mccain tour, who absolutely killed it. Also, the show featured new axeman Brant McKaskill who stunned the audience with his tasteful licks. Other incredible artists that performed were Mr. Scotty Cram and Mr. Stevie Monce, both spectacular, and a must see ASAP for all music lovers in the Southeast. L&L show audio will be available in early 2011.

Life & Limb’s new music video is finally complete!  The video features the band’s rockin’ single “Whoa Nelly” being performed at their Hard Rock Cafe Show back on September 18, 2010. As a hand picked band for the Downtown Sounds Live Concert Series by Nu Entertainment, Life & Limb stunned a packed house with this amped up rendition of their new hit. Filming was done by the ground breaking Visual Rhythm Production and is completely available for downloading, sharing, and worldwide viewing. Please check it out ASAP !!

The official announcement has been made; Life & Limb will be performing at this years Oysterfest at Park Tavern, Midtown, Atlanta. The event will feature a stellar lineup of great music, and will be held on February 12th. Please stay tuned for the complete lin up announcement, this will be a special event. Special CONGRATULATIONS to Miss Julie Gribble and Miss Hannah Thomas for their excellence at this years Georgia Lottery Music Search Finals! Along with a handful of amazing performances, both provided rockin’ performances at last Friday’s finale show on Atlanta’s WSB-TV.3. Judges included Atlanta native’s Clay Cook, Shawn Mullins, and Dallas Austin. Hats off to all the outstanding competitors. We look forward to our big upcoming show with Hannah Thomas at Smiths Olde Bar on February 3, can wait to see yall there!

Life & Limb have been asked to compete in this year’s Hard Rock Cafe Ambassadors of Rock/ Battle of the Bands. We’re asking all fans to come out to the free show this Friday (1/28) at 8pm to cheer on L&L to a smooth victory. Although it is virtually impossible to judge a music competition, it is possible to sway the vote by power of enthusiasm. The winner of the overall competition gains the right to perform at this summer’s Hard Rock Calling Concert in Hyde Park London with Bon Jovi and Paul McCartney. Lets rock folks! We need somebody. And not just anybody..

Hats off to Life & Limb comrade Paul McDonald for a great American Idol performance last week, and for advancing to Hollywood as the next step in the National competition. If you recall, he is the amazing frontman of Nashville rockers Hightide Blues. A great band  Limb has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with on several occasions. Most recently a show with them at 99X Unplugged in the Park last fall, with the memorable all star jam at shows end. Best of luck in Cali, rock on !

Must See TV !!  Life & Limb has been asked to appear on 11 Alive’s Metromix Live next Friday Feb. 11. The NBC morning show features local up and coming artists, and includes a short interview and performance. The segment will air in the early morning (6-8am) hours on Friday, and will also be a great promo-introduction to a fun filled weekend with the band; especially for Saturday’s Oysterfest at Park Tavern Atlanta. Please tune in and set your DVR’s to capture all the excitement as it happens on Atlanta’s NBC 11 Alive. Lets rock!!

Many thanks to the amazing people at Metromix Soundcheck at 11Alive for a tremendous production featuring Life & Limb  early on Friday morning. Everyone at the 11Alive station was terrific, and the interviews and song performance came off without a hitch. Special thanks to everyone who made it out to rock with us at this years Oysterfest at Park Tavern Atlanta. The nearly 2000 person crowd was completely off the chain, which made for an unbelievable show, and even better afternoon in the park. Pictures from all the wild festivities will be posted online in the next few days. The highlight of the afternoon was definitely the impromptu marriage proposal of two fans who came up on stage just after our set. Don’t worry - she said yes!

Quick heads up to everyone who is interested in coming out to cheer us on at Hard Rock Cafe’s Ambassadors of Rock Battle of the Bands this Thursday evening. Doors are slated to open at 8pm, and music at 9pm. There are six bands competing in this round, each playing three songs total. We are scheduled to perform later in the line up, so we are very excited to hang with everyone before (and after) our rocking performance. This is a free show, and well need all the help we can get, its time to get loud people... See you there !!

We’re Back!!  The official announcement has been made, Life & Limb will be performing again at this year’s Oyster-Crawfish Festival on Sat. March 26, with New Orleans top rockers Cowboy Mouth!  Like last year, well be sharing the amazing Park Tavern stage with some of the most exciting bands in the country; C.M., The Squirrelheads, and Stuck Mojo,.We anticipate an even bigger and better show than last year, with more energy, more koozies, and more hoopla than you can swallow! Cant wait to rock with everyone Mardi Gras style.. Olay !

Please join Life & Limb’s magnetic bassist Sky Clark as he graces the Smiths Olde Bar stage with a special solo acoustic show on Friday March 18. The performance will be held in the Atlanta Room at Smiths along w/Modern Paranoia and Jason Lovett. "Sky Clark has made a name for himself as the bassist with [golden] and Life & Limb, but he is also a talented singer and songwriter in his own right, composing intelligent, emotional songs in the style of Dave Matthews or Leonard Cohen." Many thanks to everyone who came out to Saturdays’ Crawfish Festival at Park Tavern! It was another amazing event, with thousands of enthusiastic fans “celebrating the fact that they’re alive” !!  Although the afternoon’s weather was not in tip top shape, the people, food, and music were out of this world. Again - Life & Limb had the chance to share the stage with some incredible talent, capped off by the evening’s blowout performance by New Orleans rockers Cowboy Mouth! Attention L&L fans, please keep your eyes and ears open for L&L’s set times for this years 500 Songs For Kids Benefit. The event is being held at Smiths Olde Bar (Atlanta, Ga) over a week long period. All proceeds benefit children in need, and the event is sure to bring out the most amazing talent in the city. *The band will be making several appearances. Lets rock yall!

Quick update on the summer touring schedule, and heads up to all our PA fans. Life & Limb will be performing at 2011’s infamous Musikfest !   The early Aug week long celebration takes place in Bethlehem,PA and is shaping up to be one amazing week of celebration and talent. The band is looking forward to catching up with everyone up north, and sharing good times at the Sands, the festival, and everywhere throughout steel town. Lets rock!

Another update: As many of you know, Life & Limb will be rocking the Inman Park Festival in Atlanta this Saturday afternoon. They are slated to perform at 4pm on the Euclid Avenue Tent Stage is the middle of the park. Hope you all tune in for this special afternoon concert. The stage is located on Euclid between Elizabeth Street and Waverly Way  amidst the amazing Arts Fest. Check website for more info : inmanparkfestival.org !

This week’s 500 Songs for Kids extravaganza will yield several performances from all of L&L’s members. All of the members will be rocking different sets on Mon 5/2, L&L will play full band on Thurs 5/5, Sky will rock with Golden on 5/6, and Patrick will be killing it again on the final night of Sat 5/7. The official announcement has been made - Life & Limb have been asked to perform live at Turner Field! The  2011 concert series will take place at the plaza main stage, just inside the bounds of the Stadium walls - prior to, and immediately following game time with the Atlanta Braves. This incredible event will take place on Sat.Aug. 13 for the 7:10 game against the Chicago Cubs. Please come early, as music will start approximately an hour before game time. Lets Play Ball !!

Special thank you’s to everyone who made it out for the Hard Rock Cafe Battle of the Bands Revisted on Fri night, the show was off the chain. Not only did Limb rock the house down, the other performances were monumental as well. Another highlight of the evening was the grand prize Round Trip Tix to London’s Hard Rock Calling Giveaway! Participants were chosen throughout the evening, and asked to strum Fender guitars, and whichever was fully amped up won a chance to move through. All in all, a handful of contestants took home brand new guitars, Bon Jovi tix, and a London Getaway. Was so huge.. Thanks again Hard Rock!

Quick Show Announcement: This coming Friday evening (6/17), join Life & Limb’s own Sky Clark for a special solo unplugged performance. The event details are: Smiths Olde Bar / 8pm doors/ Atlanta Room / Appearing live with The Deadfields, Ellis McGee, and Jonathon Edwards. Although Sky will perform later in the evening, there’s much great music and cocktails to swallow beforehand. Plus there always a special surprise or two in the mix. Rock on!

Quick show announcement for those of you coming to rock with us at MUSIKFESTt in PA!  Life & Limb will be headlining the Morning Call Plaza Tropical Stage on the evening of Tues. Aug. 9 (@ 9.30pm). Please make arrangements to find your way to the stage which will be nestled amongst the beautiful city of Bethlehem, Pa. The Musikfest is an annual festival that takes over the entire city for the week of Aug 5-14. It occupies 15 stages, and a few thousand concert goers. Many thanks to everyone who made it out for the cause at Battle of the Burgers 2011 in the Virginia Highlands, Atlanta. The annual event was held to raise money for charity Embraced, who provides medical supplies to those in need. The festival was filled with an enthusiastic crowd, great food, and a day long schedule of incredible music from such artists as Julie Gribble, Wesley Cook, Whiskey Belt, IOZ, and LIFE & LIMB. The overall winner of the burger contest this year was local favorite Farm Burger out of Decatur, Ga. Hats off to Embraced for yet another outstanding Fall Festival !

Although it appears that Life & Limb have been under the radar with a slowing tour schedule, they have actually been very busy working on new material. The band is currently in studio recording new tracks for their upcoming CD due out spring 2012, and also venturing into some hot new collaborations. According to their rep, “the new material is turning out great - it will be more of the same balls to the wall rock you’re expecting, plus a handful of incredible surprises”. It’s been almost three years since their first release “...Few and Far Between” and the band is excited for all the fans to wrap their ears around the new tunes, and their ready to come out swinging in just a few weeks. “We will rock you !!”

As many of you know, this year’s Holiday Show has been rescheduled to a later date this spring. Sorry for the inconvenience, but L&L will use the make up date as a chance to show off their new material and new live concert CD’s  with their fans. A handful of great live tracks have been gathered from the band’s key concert’s in 2011, and are available to any fan who wants them. New Show Announcement: Please join LIFE & LIMB as they will be rocking the 2012 Steamhouse Lounge Oysterfest on Sat. Feb. 25 at noon. The annual event will be held adjacent to the restaurant in Midtown Atlanta, specifically on 11th and West Peachtree Streets. Life & Limb have just signed on to perform at this year’s ‘500 Songs For Kids’ Benefit Concert at Smiths Olde Bar (Atlanta, GA). The annual event helps raise money for children in need, and the Foundation has come a long way visiting hospitals far and wide for their cause. Look for L&L on the opening night of the week long celebration, Thursday May 3rd - sometime between 7pm and midnight. Bring it!

Congratulations !!  Last Friday at the Georgia Music Awards Nominations Party, the announcements were made. Life & Limb have been nominated in the category for Best Rock Group. The Official Awards Presentation Ceremony and Concert are scheduled for June 16, 2012. The evening looks to be an incredible night of music and appreciation for the entire GA music scene. The red carpet awards gala will be held at the infamous Buckhead Theater, so keep your fingers crossed !

Special Event!  This Friday April 27 (6-8pm), Life & Limb will perform a special Acoustic Show for the Carolyns Cafe 10th Anniversary Bash in Midtown ATL. This is a very unique and small venue, so please get there early if you want some table space. The band is looking forward to the up close and personal show, and the party looks to be outlandish, with many special surprises. (Carolyns is located at 1151 Wsest Peachtree St). Let rock.
